NetNearU STRENGTHENS NCR PARTNERSHIP
WITH SOFTWARE LICENSING AGREEMENT

College Station, Texas -- NetNearU Corp. ("NNU"), a pioneer and leader in providing public Internet access, announced today it has signed an agreement giving NCR Corporation a worldwide license to market and distribute NNU's proprietary Internet software. The licensing agreement follows the announcement last month of a partnership among NCR, NetNearU and PBG, Inc. to offer a turnkey Internet terminal solution, including hardware, software, enclosure, installation and deployment.

Under the software licensing agreement, NCR will purchase and deploy NetNearU's TRACKOSTM, ADTRACKOSTM and SystemHealthTM software products on hardware marketed by NCR. The agreement allows NCR to establish prices for NNU products to end-users while providing a guaranteed purchase price to NetNearU. Additionally, NCR may refer its end-user customers to NetNearU for network monitoring, management, and billing and collection services.

"NCR has established a leadership position in the Web kiosk market, and we are pleased to strengthen our partnership with the company through this licensing agreement," said Larry M. James, chairman and chief executive officer of NetNearU. "The agreement will help catalyze our own growth by providing us access to NCR's well-developed worldwide customer base and its marketing and sales expertise in the high technology marketplace.

"Our expanded relationship with NCR underscores NetNearU's ability to provide innovative software solutions in the growing Internet environment," James said.

TRACKOSTM software allows terminal owners and licensees to remotely monitor, manage and maintain their Internet-based networks and instantly access data about terminal usage and revenue generation, no matter where in the world terminals are located. ADTRACKOSTM software provides for interactive ad management. Through the use of NNU servers, SystemHealthTM software allows customers to perform remote monitoring services to troubleshoot and identify hardware operability problems. The system collects real-time information from all terminals and captures updates of terminal status. Data is available immediately through the secure NetNearU Web site and can be used to provide management reports, including operability information indicating current status of hardware peripherals and connectivity.
